For HD snapshot, you can also choose between optimal good or maximum, a high-resolution or medium or a ST resolution which is really nice, you can do file management, and you can use the internal hard drive. to copy your files to the USB memory sticks then transfer to your computer. What I would recommend doing is formatting either your hard drive and USB drive when you stick it in. With just the eight GB memory stick, I can record 67 minutes of the highest HD footage that is pretty good that’s pretty much on that I need to record.
In conclusion I’m very impressed with AVERMEDIA C281 game capture HD record, but you do have to purchase an external storage device, but it’s really not that much money, you have to pay for the storage and another thing that I didn’t like and the lack of the digital audio optical audio and s-video and analog video supports. But those are really minor complaint because this is absolutely great device at a fantastic price, it’s very easy to setup, and literally, you can have a going out-of-the-box in 10 minutes without any PC at all !
